      The Market Street Mission’s Emergency Services Program fulfills immediate basic needs (food, shelter, clothing & other items of charity), gives appropriate referrals, and allows for identification of potential candidates for Mission programs.

      Our Life Change Program is Market Street Mission’s Christian long-term addiction recovery curriculum that includes 12-step work, individual and group counseling, and education and job training.

      The longer someone is intentional about their sobriety, the more likely they are to remain sober.

      This is why we have made it a priority to support our alumni beyond graduation. One way is by providing the option for graduates to live in sober houses when they finish our program, so we can continue to make available the resources they need to live a sober lifestyle.

    Started in Newton in June of 2021, the Market Street Mission – Sussex County is a 14-bed hospitality room providing a safe place to sleep for men experiencing homelessness. Our guests also receive a hot meal, shower, and the opportunity to connect with our addiction recovery Life Change Program at our location in Morristown.
